The core program of the Orion project, located in a strategic area in Bangkok, is a balanced portfolio of top grade office towers, luxury shopping malls, star-rated hotels, global conference facilities, and prime residences. On one hand, the Orion will be among the most prestigious business developments in the country. The site area is approximately 1.6 kilometre square (1,000 rai). It is elongated in shape and measured around 240 meters long. The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand currently occupies the site with several low to mid-rise office buildings and train depots. There are some existing vegetation in form of trees and tall grass around the perimeter, and natural canals and water bodies are observed within site boundary.
