La proposta vuole mantenere la scala urbana della cittadina prevedendo la riqualificazione dell'area attraverso la progettazione di un landscape sul quale trovano posto aree per eventi, esposizioni e tempo libero e l'inserimento di nuovi edifici, ampliamenti e ristrutturazioni di quelli esistenti.
L'asse viario che collega il porto con il centro diventa la spina dorsale di un sistema che collega le funzioni pubbliche dal centro della cittą fino al mare.
The proposal aims at maintaining the urban scale of the Australian cities and envisioning the regeneration of the area by means of the insertion of new buildings, the addition and modification of the existing buildings, and a new landscape where events, exhibition and leisure activities take place. The street axis that connects the port to the urban center becomes the spine that connects the public functions from the heart of the city all the way to the habour.
